Raised in the Bay Area during my early years, our family of five spent a good deal of time with my mother's extended Italian family in the Marina District of San Francisco. We were an Air Force family and before long, we began traveling to air bases around the country and overseas.
My last two years of high school were spent in Japan. Soon after returning to the Bay Area, I enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley and worked for architectural firms while completing my education with undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture. I then worked briefly for the City of Oakland in the Planning Department. Having always enjoyed Northern California, I moved to Mendocino County. After several years of traveling to many very different locations, I found the Mendocino Coast to be exceptional and settled down to make this my home.
My wife and I raised three wonderful children all of whom are in Northern California. My license in architecture allowed me to open a private practice that has given me a broad range of design opportunities and experiences. Those opportunities have led to the construction of several new homes, inns, civic and commercial developments.
